One studio, or three hires
One studio, or a freelancer for each piece?
Most owner-run businesses end up with a website person, an automation person and a stack of monthly tools, none of which know about each other. This page sets out what that costs you and what actually changes when one studio does the lot. No figures we cannot stand behind.
The scattered way
- A website person, an automation person and a content person, each on their own invoice.
- Three people to chase when something breaks, and no one who owns the whole picture.
- Tools that were never introduced to each other, so the same details get typed in twice.
- Monthly subscriptions that keep charging whether or not they bring anything in.
The one-studio way
- One fixed one-time fee, agreed in writing before anything is built.
- One point of contact for the website, the automation and the media.
- Three arms under one roof, so the pieces are built to talk to each other.
- Six live builds you can open and use yourself before you decide anything.
Where we are the wrong choice
Two cases where separate hires beat one studio.
If you already have two of the three pieces working and only one gap to fill, do not buy the whole house. Take Foundation at $500 for the one thing, and keep whoever is already doing the rest.
If what you want is a monthly retainer relationship with someone on call, this is not that studio. Every engagement here is a one-time fee with the work handed over at the end, and Ongoing Care is optional and quoted separately.
